Mr. Bain pays tribute to a no ordinary legend, Andrew Geddes Bain. He was a true innovator and free thinker that was ground-breaking in his time. Andrew Bain was a geologist, road engineer, palaeontologist and explorer by occupation. He constructed the Bains Kloof Pass, situated in the picturesque town of Wellington, South Africa, connecting the Southern part of South Africa (Western Cape which includes Wellington) to the interior Northern parts of South Africa.A beautiful drive through the pass will leave you breathless with views of the entire Wellington valley to far distant Cape Town with Table Mountain in the backdrop.The Mr. Bain wine range is an easy drinking wine that will inspire creativity and consist of a Wild Fermented Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir.
