Quinta do Boição gives rise to nectars with a distinct personality, from carefully selected grapes, limited editions, manual harvesting and sustainable agriculture methods.From a plot of very old vines, over 50 years old - a strain that is over 50 years old is represented on the label of this wine - this “Grande Reserva” is born, a unique production of 3,060 bottles, which aged in 2nd year barrels of French oak. The aromas of toast and honey are joined by orange blossom and citrus fruits. In the mouth it is a powerful and complex wine, with excellent volume in the mouth, elegant and harmonious.Ideal with spicy charcuterie, oven-baked fish, stewed red meats and medium-structured cheeses.
